In 2017 SIDELINE is expanding its international network with creative co-pro alliances with True Gravity Productions (Canada); History Channel (UK) and MY Entertainment (USA). We continue to forge opportunities to produce and fund original scripted and non-scripted TV formats and in the past have successfully secured Irish Film/TV tax incentives for our international co-producers. SIDELINE is also actively involved in establishing Ireland’s 1st TV Format Sales & Distribution Company in Dublin to centralize the global reputation of Irish show creators, producers and broadcasters. SIDELINE has a proven track record in creating & producing primetime series for home and abroad.
Credits include Entertainment -Class Act; Hollywood Trials and The Model Scouts (with IMG) and Factual– Baby on Board (parenting); Living with Murder (crime); Behind Bars (prisons) & Print and Be Damned (newspapers). Both popular history series Tales of Irish Castles (TV3/BAI) and Secrets of Great British Castles (Ch5/Group M) were sold by DCD Rights worldwide and shown in over 200 territories in nearly 30 languages on Netflix.

SIDELINE is currently producing major social history series Revolting Ireland (TV3/BAI/S481) plus in funded development with 6 hour series The Irish in Britain with Ardal O’Hanlon (RTE/History); TV3 sports entertainment series The Clubhouse; science/history series Dying to Fly (Irish/Canadian co-pro); adventure series Climb Island (RTE) with expert climber Iain Miller plus a range of new Factual & Entertainment formats -The Floor (competition), Castle Battle (reality), Date Like a Victorian (relationships), Bucking The Trend (lifestyle) & Gift of The Gab (Ent). SCRIPTED

SIDELINE is committed to the development of new Irish comedy writing talent & have invested in new projects, talent & scripts inc. The Rubberbandits (Ch4); Foil, Arms & Hog (BBC funded development) plus in 2016 & ‘17 produced 36 original half hours for Comedy Showhouse (RTE Radio) resulting in TV pilots all female sketch comedy series Waiting (writer Fiona Looney) and social comedy Colm O’Regan Wants a Word double winner for Best Radio Comedy at both the Irish and Celtic Media Awards.

Current projects include BURGESS GD (genealogy detective series); SOLID (Lenny Bruce project); NEVER MIND THE NURSING HOME (sitcom) and two Irish/Canadian comedies with True Gravity Prods in Toronto.
