An original format by Sideline, Class Act was a family entertainment show developed for RTÉ ONE and filled the primetime family entertainment slot in 2007 & 2008 with average 32% share.

With a unique twist to other talent searches, Class Act was seeking the nations most talented teenager and features 13 to 17 year old performing artists in a wide range of disciplines, including song, dance, magic, musical performance, circus, acting and more.

Taking these young artists from the schoolyard to the stage, Class Act gave them the opportunity to perform on national television in front of a live audience and receive guidance from a judging panel of respected industry figures. The winner of the live final received the Class Act trophy and a €10,000 bursary towards further education and training.
