After more than 30 years on air around the globe, Sideline produced everyone’s favourite TV game show for TV3 in 2012.

Presented by the brilliant Alan Hughes, Celebrity Family Fortunes included Big Brother winners Brian Dowling and Paddy Doherty; Liverpool soccer legend Ronnie Whelan; top model Pippa O’Connor with TV star husband Brian Ormond plus music legends Sharon Shannon and Aslan all battling it out with their families to win the top jackpot of €5000 for their nominated charity.

You know how it works – two family teams, each with five members, go head-to-head to guess the results of surveys, in which 100 Irish people were asked open ended questions.  After several rounds of predicting the most popular answers to seemingly simple questions, one of the families could try their luck in Big Money and walk away with a major cash prize.
